It is well-known amongst peruvian people the damage that terrorist movements caused in our country, leaving thousands of casualties, families destroyed, massive economic crisis and a terrified population in such level that our parents remember such times as if they would’ve happened yesterday. Wage gap percentages

Imagen
The study confirms the persistence of gender gaps in income between women and men, and their growing evolution, as of 2017 between the different groups of income distribution and at the urban-rural level, reaching, for this year, values between 67% 55% in the different income segments. In this regard, it is found that the largest gender gaps in income are seen among the lowest income groups. It is evident that the gender gap in the allocation of unpaid domestic and care work and the income gap feed each other, perpetuating the disadvantaged condition of women compared to their male peers, between different income groups and at the urban-rural level. In effect, working women in households with a greater burden of members under 6 years of age and/or members between 6 and 18 years of age, and members over 65 years of age, are less likely to participate in formal labor markets compared to their peers. mens. Another result to highlight is referred to the breakdown of the gender gap....

Peruvian universities fighting for woman right

By FemCiencias In the last few years, women are raising their voices to emphasize the catastrophic problematics surrounding them. Thanks to students determined to make a change, many universities are creating initiatives relate to this topic to help them to be more listened to. Some time later it would be officially known by “FemCiencias”, creating this way a safe place for woman. Many other universities are being more open about this topic, that years ago was not really talked or taken seriously. In their principal pages, they publish posts about the importance of movements like this, their impact in the last few years and even creating specific sections for this posts, fighting for the equality and raising awarness about this problematic, that we hope o...
